NJEH is an open-access journal that operates under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This license allows users to freely share, copy, and redistribute the materials published in the journal under the following conditions:
Attribution: Users must provide appropriate credit, link to the license, and indicate if any changes were made to the material. This must be done in a manner that does not imply the journal endorses the user or their use of the material.
NonCommercial: The material may not be used for commercial purposes.
No Derivatives: Users are not permitted to remix, transform, or build upon the material, and the distribution of any modified material is prohibited.
No Additional Restrictions: Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that restrict others from doing anything the license permits.
It is a requirement for authors to transfer the worldwide copyright of their manuscript to NJEH upon submission. All submissions must be accompanied by a cover letter that confirms the manuscript is original, not under consideration, and has not been previously published in any other journal.
Authors retain the right to republish parts of their work elsewhere, provided that permission is sought from NJEH and proper attribution is given. This copyright transfer does not affect any existing patent rights or agreements related to them.
If any illustrations, tables, or quotations from other publications are included in the manuscript and are subject to copyright, the author must provide written permission to use these materials, and such permissions must accompany the manuscript submission.
